    Hyphen has several spaces available for your next function, event meeting, workshop or creative project.

    Get inspired with Hyphen – Wodonga Library Gallery, the ultimate spot for your next gathering, meeting, workshop or creative escape.

    Nestled in the heart of Wodonga’s CBD, Hyphen is open Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm, and weekends from 10am to 3pm.

    With flexible, modern spaces to suit any occasion, there is a perfect spot waiting for you. Choose from the option of three meeting rooms, with bifold doors between Rooms 1 and 2 to create a larger, more dynamic setting when you need it.

    Hosting a big group or running a workshop? The spacious Community Studio has you covered. Or, if you are after something with a view, head up to the Sculpture Terrace on level one for a vibrant, open-air experience overlooking our charming courtyard.

    Need a later slot? No problem – we’ve got after-hours access from 6.30pm to 10pm.

    Hyphen is accessible for everyone, with lift access to all levels, braille and tactile signage, a Wi-Fi hearing system in the Community Studio and accessible facilities.

    Meeting Rooms 1 and 2 - 25m² and 24m²

    Up to 12 people - single room only.
    Up to 24 people - when both rooms are opened.

    Choose your own adventure with Meeting Rooms 1 and 2. Comfortably seating 12 people each when separated, we can create a larger space by opening the bifold doors to fit up to 24 people.

    With direct access onto the Sculpture Terrace, natural light and modern decor these spaces are ideal for team gatherings, off-site sessions and hands-on workshops.

    Creative Studio - 25m²

    This vibrant space invites artists to become an "artist in residence," providing a fantastic opportunity for artists, designers, and creatives to develop their work in a dedicated, purpose-built environment at Hyphen.

    Offering a unique studio space at a heavily subsidised rate, the Creative Studio is perfect for artists who need a little more space, have a deadline coming up or just need some focus for their creative endeavours.

Also available for exclusive night time bookings, these unique spaces bring an inspiring and creative atmosphere to any function. Please note: Hire of gallery spaces is dependent on the nature of exhibition on display.

    Terms and conditions

    As the meeting rooms are located within the building, noise levels must be appropriate during operating hours. Noise levels that can be heard outside the room could result in the booking being cancelled and money withheld.

    For meetings held outside library opening hours, a representative of the hirer must visit the library prior to the meeting to collect the keys and receive information about opening and closing procedures.

    Facilities must be left in a clean and orderly state with tables and chairs returned to their original places or additional charges could apply.

    Hyphen is a fully licensed venue. Catering is the responsibility of, and to be arranged, by the hirer.

    All venue hirers must provide a current certificate of $10M Public Liability Insurance (PLI). PLI can be arranged through City of Wodonga if required.
