The Warm Winter Read Returns! Join us in our annual reading challenge where we encourage you to take more time to curl up with a great read every week.
Track your reading using Beanstack or pick up a reading journal from June to August and go in the running to win a prize! Don’t forget to grab a bookmark from the branch and take part in our fortnightly challenges to keep your winter reading warm.
Not sure what to read next? We’re here to help you find a story to snuggle up with as the temperature drops. So stay warm and get reading this winter!
How to participate
Log each day you spend time reading on the Beanstack Tracker app, via the Beanstack website or in a paper reading journal (available from the front desk).
Join the conversation online by sharing your progress through the six challenge activities using #WarmWinterRead
1. Create a cosy reading spot
2. Read aloud to a person, pet or plant
3. Start a new series OR read the next book in a series you have already started
4. Recommend a book you loved, in person or online
5. Listen to an audiobook while doing something else
6. Read a book set somewhere you’d like to travel to
Registration via Beanstack will automatically enter you in to a state-wide prize draw. If you are participating via a printed Reading Journal cut out the entry from and return it to the library before the end of the challenge.
