Hyphen Kids is an after school program for children aged 6 to 12 years based on elements of STEAM learning. Each week is designed to build on the experiences, blending in larger themes of the exhibitions and making use of all the resources throughout the Hyphen space.
Messy Art is an invitation to play and make, discover and explore! Each week children get hands-on experience creating art with a range of different techniques. Children will work through different activities designed to build creative thinking and develop art making skills.
The last week will be dedicated to showcasing what everyone has made.
There are two sessions. Tuesdays for ages 9 to 12 years and Wednesdays for ages 6 to 8 years.
Bookings required. By booking in for this program you are committing to attending each week for each of the Term 2 dates.
Parents and guardians are welcome to stay for the workshops or explore the Hyphen Library Gallery space for the duration of the workshop.
